Cleveland Indians: Tigers Crush the Tribe

8-20-11     at Detroit     L, 10-1     62-60

The sellout crowds that have packed into Comerica Park this weekend clearly understand the importance of this series between the Indians and Tigers.
The Indians, though, appear disinterested and lifeless, and, as a result, their deficit in the American League Central Division has increased to 3.5 games.
On Saturday evening, David Huff's poor start - 2 1/3 IP, 5 ER - set the tone for a miserable night in the Motor City.
Brandon Inge, making his 1st appearance since returning from the disabled list, was 2-4 with a solo home run and a RBI double.
Shin-Soo Choo's solo bomb to the left-center field bleachers in the 4th was the only sign of fight the Tribe displayed against Doug Fister and the Detroit bullpen.  Fister tossed 7 innings of 1-run baseball to earn the win.
Manny Acta was forced to yank Huff in the 3rd
