Cleveland Browns: Preseason Week 1

8-13-11     vs. Green Bay     W, 27-17     1-0 (Preseason)

Recap in a Sentence:
     Colt McCoy and the 1st-team offense were in mid-season form as the Browns built an early lead en route to a comfortable victory over the defending Super Bowl champions.
Player of the Game:
Colt McCoy - 9-10 (completions-attempts), 135 yards, 1 touchdown, 0 interceptions
     What a difference a year can make.
     At this time last preseason, McCoy was fighting for a roster spot, but, 12 months later, he is the unquestioned leader of a team that is beginning to show signs of promise.
Play of the Game:
Titus Brown's 43-yard fumble return for a touchdown in the 3rd quarter
     Brian Smith produced the devastating hit that forced a Graham Harrell fumble, and Brown grabbed the loose pigskin with nothing but green grass in front of him.  The exciting TD gave Cleveland a lead that it would not relinquish.
