Cleveland Browns: Preseason Week 2

8-19-11     vs. Detroit     L, 30-28     1-1 (Preseason)

Recap in a Sentence:
     Buoyed by Colt McCoy's 3 1st half touchdown passes, the Browns enjoyed a 28-13 lead midway through the 3rd quarter before the Lions rallied against Cleveland's reserves.
Player of the Game:
Evan Moore - 3 receptions, 40 yards, 2 touchdowns
     The Browns' backup tight end displayed soft hands and an ability to find openings in the defense.  The former Green Bay Packer could become a favorite target of McCoy in the West Coast offense.
Play of the Game:
Colt McCoy's 21-yard TD pass to Evan Moore in the 2nd quarter
     McCoy lofted a perfect, over-the-shoulder pass to Evan Moore, who made the catch in the end zone while tapping both feet in bounds as his momentum carried him toward the sideline.  The officials initially ruled that Moore did not make a legal snag, but Pat Shurmur tossed the challenge flag, and the call was reversed.
